Thalapothichil, also called Shirolepa or “head pack therapy,” is an Ayurvedic procedure where a medicinal herbal paste is applied over the scalp. The paste is a therapeutic blend of herbs, fruits, and natural ingredients, sometimes mixed with buttermilk or herbal decoctions, customized according to your body type (Dosha) and health needs. Once applied, the paste is covered with a banana leaf or cloth, retaining its medicinal properties and allowing the herbs to penetrate deeply into the scalp and nervous system, calming the mind and supporting overall wellness.

Main Procedure– The herbal paste is applied evenly over the scalp, forming a therapeutic cap, and covered with a banana leaf or cloth to retain warmth and medicinal properties. The paste penetrates the scalp and nervous system, providing mental relaxation and scalp nourishment.
